Frequently Asked Questions:

What should I wear?

Dress for the weather. You’ll be outside most of the time. The trails can be muddy, so wear appropriate footwear/boots.

Are masks required?

Masks are required indoors for unvaccinated people (individuals kindergarten and up). Indoor areas include the Visitor Center, Krippendorf Lodge, and all restroom facilities.  Masks are not required indoors for fully vaccinated individuals or for preschool children and younger. Masks are not required outdoors or under pavilions and tents.

Where is the event? Where should I park?

This program takes place at Cincinnati Nature Center's Rowe Woods location (4949 Tealtown Rd, Milford, OH 45150). Upon check in, our gatehouse staff will provide you with a map for the event and information on where to park.

How long is the trail? How long will it take?

The trail is one mile and mostly flat. Most of the trail is outside. It traverses around the Rowe Visitor Center, Krippendorf Lodge, and Abner Hollow Cabin, where you can warm up a bit. The entire trail should take about an hour to complete. We recommend a slow pace to take in the sights and sounds of this special evening. Be inspired by the forest glow, listen to the live music, warm by the bonfire, visit a beautifully decorated period home, and enjoy holiday shopping!

Are restrooms available?

There are three restroom facilities available along the trail, included a handicapped accessible restroom.

May I purchase food or drinks at this event?

No. There will be no food or drink available for purchase. Drinking fountains will be on at the visitor for those who wish to fill their water bottles.
