Geology of Running Water: A Drop In Trailside Experience 8/26/2017

A drop in program.  No preregistration required.

Program participants meet at the Geology Trail at the first stream crossing (west of the limestone steps).

Did you know that the Nature Center had to re-route the popular Geology Trail due to erosion? Try out the new trail and stop at the stream crossing to visit with a professional geologist. Chat about the history of Avey’s Run and check out local fossils found in the stream bed.

Free to members; nonmember ticket prices include daily admission.  

*Please note that cancellations must be made at least two weeks in advance of the event. No refunds or transfers of fees will occur if the request is made less than two weeks prior to the event.

Important Information For All Program Registrants:  Please retain your order number or print off a copy of the email acknowledgement as a receipt. You will need your order number from your transaction to gain entry at the gate/to attend your program.
