Conservation Starters: Gardening for Hummingbirds

Preregistration required. A program for adults. 
 
Registered program participants should meet in the Rowe Woods Visitor Center's Pine Room.                                        
 
Discover the joy of attracting hummingbirds, nature's flying jewels! We will learn about our local hummingbird species, discuss the use of nectar feeders and determine what native and annual plants work best to support these delightful birds. Participants will get to take home a small native nectar plant from our nursery to use in their garden or pots.

Members $10; nonmembers $19 (includes daily admission).   
 

*Please note that cancellations must be made at least two weeks in advance of the event. No refunds or transfers of fees will occur if the request is made less than two weeks prior to the event. All programs continue, rain or shine.     

 

Important Information For All Program Registrants:  Please retain your order number or print off a copy of the email acknowledgement as a receipt.  You will need your order number from your transaction to gain entry at the gate/to attend your program.
