6:30 PM  –  8:00 PM

This informative program on composting is set for June 5 at 6:30 pm. Our apologies if you received an email listing the date as June 6.  This was an error. Allow us to host you on June 5 for this great class to teach how YOU can make a difference  with composting!

Preregistration required. A program for adults.

Registered program participants should meet in the Rowe Woods Visitor Center's Pine Room.

According to the EPA, more food reaches landfills and incinerators than any other single material in municipal solid waste! Composting is one easy, affordable solution to this staggering statistic. Join us as we learn the basics of composting and how to make it work for you. We’ll visit our Nature Center compost bins and our native plant garden.

Members $5; nonmembers $14 (includes daily admission).

*Please note that cancellations must be made at least two weeks in advance of the event. No refunds or transfers of fees will occur if the request is made less than two weeks prior to the event. All programs continue, rain or shine.
