Woodcock Walk For Adults at Rowe Woods

Preregistration is required online for all adults and children.  Please register before 2 pm on March 12. Space is limited.  Not appropriate for children under 12 years.

Please join us for Woodcock Walk at our Rowe Woods location (4949 Tealtown Road, Milford OH 45150) in our Rowe Woods Visitor Center Auditorium.  No flashlights please. Please dress for the weather. It will be muddy, so wear old clothes and boots.

Naturalists Connie O'Connor and Sheila Riley welcome you for a talk and walk about woodcocks at 7:15 pm.  Adults and children (12 years and up) will take a brisk walk to the fields across Tealtown Road to stand very still and wait for the action to begin.  First you will hear them, then you will see their flight against the darkening sky.  Woodcocks are a secretive game bird and the best part of the “mud season.” Expect to be here for about an hour and a half total to learn about these fascinating birds.

$5 for members and $10 for nonmembers (includes daily admission).

*Please note that cancellations must be made at least two weeks in advance of the event. No refunds or transfers of fees will occur if the request is made less than two weeks prior to the event.

Important Information For All Program Registrants: Please retain your order number or print off a copy of the email acknowledgement as a receipt.  You will need your order number from your transaction to gain entry at the gate/to attend your program.
