Embracing the Cold

"Ice Man" Bryan Wolf has been in love with winter treks ever since his winter thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail. Every year he explores the Appalachians in what he hopes will be the coldest week of the year. Bryan will share how he plans to enjoy -20 degree temps on Mt. LeConte in the Smokeys, - 50 degree windchill on Mt. Washington in New Hampshire or navigate a dump of five feet of fresh snow in the Dolly Sods in West Virginia. Bryan will share some of his tips to surviving the cold, but also why exactly it is his favorite time to adventure out. Bryan is a co-owner at Roads Rivers and Trails Adventure Outfitter in Milford, Ohio.

Free; nonmember adults $9.  Online tickets purchased for nonmembers include admission.
