A Thru-hiker’s Journey: A 2013 thru-hike of the North Country Trail

Come hear the story of one hiker's journey over the nation's longest scenic trail, the "crown jewel" of the national scenic trail system. It's a story of struggle to overcome obstacles and to continue on in the pursuit of achieving goals and personal growth. At 4,600 miles long, the North Country Trail passes through seven states, including Ohio, and presents many challenges including deep snow, swarms of insects, high heat and everything in between. Follow along as he traverses this trail of great diversity from the vast plains of North Dakota to the high peaks of the Adirondacks. Luke Jordan is an outdoor adventurer and speaker who also works as a Recreation Planner for the National Park Service.

Free; nonmember adults $9.  Online tickets purchased for nonmembers include admission.
