Participants should meet at the Kiosk outside of Rowe Visitor Center at our Rowe Woods location.
We are combining two of our favorite things, the joy of hiking and books! Following the footsteps of many before us, we’ll find delight in the woods this winter as we share Mary Oliver’s poems with our own observations in nature. A copy of the book will be provided for each participant.
What to wear/bring: This is an outdoor hike; please dress for the weather. Please also bring your own mask. Whether indoors or outdoors, masks are required for all adults and children in Kindergarten through 12th grade at all Cincinnati Nature Center programs. Masks are to be worn outside when one cannot consistently be spaced 6 feet apart. Masks are also required to be worn while inside all facilities (for example, Rowe Visitor Center, restroom, etc.).
Participants will receive their book at the start of the class on Sunday.
Members $20; nonmembers $29 (includes daily admission).
*Please note that cancellations must be made at least two weeks in advance of the event. No refunds or transfers of fees will occur if the request is made less than two weeks prior to the event. All programs continue, rain or shine.

Cincinnati Nature Center will run advertised programs and events in accordance with current guidelines outlined by the CDC and local health agencies. The status or format of programs may change based on COVID-19 best practices and conditions at the time of the program. In the event that Cincinnati Nature Center cancels a program, full refunds will be issued.
