Winter Hike and Soup

This event is no longer on sale.

Saturday January 4

11:00 AM  –  12:30 PM

Preregistration required. Geared for adults and ages 12 and up with an adult.

Program participants meet at the Green Cottage at our Rowe Woods location. Dress for the weather and bring water. Layers and proper footwear for winter conditions are recommended.

Hiking is not only for warm weather! Some of the most beautiful views in the woods occur after the snow has fallen. Trek through the forest trails of Rowe Woods while learning how to hike safely in the winter. Find out what to wear, what to bring, and how to find your way around on your next cold weather wilderness adventure. Afterwards, warm up and keep the discussion going with your leader and fellow hikers over a bowl of hearty soup.

Vegan and gluten free soup will be available.
