Natural History for Homeschool Families - Local Geology 10/20/2017

This event is no longer on sale.

Friday October 20

10:00 AM  –  12:00 PM

Ages 4-12 with an adult caregiver.  Preregistration is required for all students/children participating.  Adult chaperones/parents need not register.  However, all students must have adult supervision for this program.

Program participants should meet at the Auditorium at our Rowe Woods location.

We’ll develop an appreciation for local geology as we use our hands to explore everything from soil to evidence of glaciers to identifying fossils down in the creek. Professional geologist Terry Stransky will be on hand to help identify rocks and fossils (bring your “stumpers” along). Upon arrival, students will have the option of joining a group specifically geared for their level.

Members $6 per child; nonmember $10 per child (includes daily admission).

*Please note that cancellations must be made at least two weeks in advance of the event. No refunds or transfers of fees will occur if the request is made less than two weeks prior to the event.

Important Information For All Program Registrants:  Please retain your order number or print off a copy of the email acknowledgement as a receipt.  You will need your order number from your transaction to gain entry at the gate/to attend your program.
