We are sorry. This event has been CANCELED.

We’re pleased to announce that Cincinnati Nature Center is teaming up with Civic Garden Center of Greater Cincinnati to co-promote in-person classes to help you make your space more useful for wildlife and more beautiful for you. Please pay close attention to this class location as this takes place at Civic Garden Center of Greater Cincinnati.

Preregistration is required for this program designed for adults.

Program participants will meet at the Civic Garden Center of Greater Cincinnati (2715 Reading Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45206) for this program.

Research shows that native plants offer more choices for food and shelter for birds. Consider garden plantings with native plants to bring birds to your home. In this class you will learn about the best plants to support birds in the greater Cincinnati area. Learn to grow bird-friendly plants to attract and protect the birds you love while adding beauty to your home.

This classes will be a mix of indoor and in-field instruction. Presenter Brian Grubb will spend 30-45 minutes inside followed by a trip around the grounds to see firsthand some of the plants and garden designs we have related to each program.

What to bring: Please bring your own personal drinking water.

Unvaccinated people, including children kindergarten and up, are required to wear masks while inside all facilities (for example, Rowe Visitor Center, restroom, etc.). Masks are not required outdoors.
