Have you ever wondered about contemplative practices in nature? Start your holidays in a peaceful state of mind as we introduce the deep connection between Buddhism and nature. Following a brief talk, we will take time to slow down and use our senses to observe nature on a technology-free hike. If hikers want more distance from their phone, they may leave it safely with the hike leader.

This session will be led by the Cincinnati Nature Center’s Public Programs Fellow Emma Taylor. Emma has recently traveled to Thailand to learn about Buddhism and Conservation from Buddhist monks. She will be completing her Masters of Arts in Biology on the topic of Buddhist philosophy and environmental education in December.

Members $5; nonmembers $14 (includes daily admission).
