Make a Hiking Stick 6/13/2020

Preregistration required.

Meets at the Outdoor Learning Center at our Rowe Woods location. Please note that we will be following social distancing guidelines for this program and also sanitizing tools between uses.

Choose your own pre-harvested honeysuckle branch and craft it into a customized hiking stick. Use simple hand tools to cut, smooth and work the stick. Add embellishments like brass tacks, then cute and add your own leather lanyard.

Fees are per stick kit; a parent may purchase one stick to work on with their child. Nonmembers parents who purchase a ticket for their child, but do not purchase a ticket for themselves, will pay daily admission at the gate.

Members $7; nonmembers $14 (includes daily admission).

 

*Please note that cancellations must be made at least two weeks in advance of the event. No refunds or transfers of fees will occur if the request is made less than two weeks prior to the event. Programs continue, rain or shine.


Important Information For All Program Registrants:  Please retain an electronic copy of your order number or save/print off a copy of the email acknowledgement as a receipt.  You may be asked for your order number from your transaction to gain entry at the gate/to attend your program.
