Homeschool Field Trip: What's For Lunch? 9:30 AM

This event is no longer on sale.

Tuesday November 8

9:30 AM  –  11:30 AM

Preregistration required.  Suitable for 2nd-5th grade equivalent with an adult caregiver, but older and younger siblings may attend as well.

Explore food chains in the field, forest and pond at Rowe Visitor Center with a naturalist.  Participants will learn about how organisms interact within ecosystems through hands-on activities.

Designated overseer: If a parent/caregiver is unable to attend an event, the child may attend a program with an adult designated to oversee the experience of the child (for example: grandparent, another homeschool parent, etc.). We request that one adult oversee no more than six children.

The field trip is 100% outdoors, so please dress for the weather.  The hike will vary from 1 to 1.5 miles, mostly level terrain with some mild hills and some off trail activities.

Participants should meet in the PlayScape Pavilion at our Rowe Woods location.

Members $7; nonmembers $13 (includes daily admission).
