Homeschool Day - Geology - What's Under Our Feet

Preregistration is required for all students/children participating. Most suited to grade equivalent 3-8. Adult chaperones/parents need not register. However, all students must have adult supervision for this program.
Program participants should meet in the Rowe Woods Visitor Center Pine Room at our Rowe Woods location. Please bring your lunch and a drink.
Students explore soil components and properties, learn how soil supports life, observe how erosion and deposition affect land forms, and discover clues about the geologic past in fossils and rock layers.
Preregistration required Members $7 per child; nonmembers $11 per child (includes daily admission).
*Please note that cancellations must be made at least two weeks in advance of the event. No refunds or transfers of fees will occur if the request is made less than two weeks prior to the event.
Important Information For All Program Registrants: Please retain your order number or print off a copy of the email acknowledgement as a receipt. You will need your order number from your transaction to gain entry at the gate/to attend your program.
