Gardening for Butterflies and Pollinators 5/11/2018

Preregistration required.  Suitable for adults and interested youth ages 12+.

Program participants meet at the Rowe Visitor Center Auditorium.

Steve Inglish, team leader of Cincinnati Nature Center’s butterfly monitoring program, will give a brief indoor introduction, and then head out to the Witt Family Pollinator Garden to see butterfly host and nectaring plants, as well as the key habitat requirements and features you’ll need to create your own butterfly garden. We’ll explore resources to help you transform your yard into a caterpillar nursery, as well as how to certify your yard as wildlife habitat.

Members $10 per person; nonmembers $19 (includes daily admission).

 

*Please note that cancellations must be made at least two weeks in advance of the event. No refunds or transfers of fees will occur if the request is made less than two weeks prior to the event.

Important Information For All Program Registrants: Please retain your order number or print off a copy of the email acknowledgement as a receipt.  You will need your order number from your transaction to gain entry at the gate/to attend your program.
