Wednesday September 2

8:30 PM  –  10:00 PM

This program is SOLD OUT. Please contact registrar@cincynature.org to be added to a waitlist. We will contact you only if space becomes available.

Preregistration required. This program is recommended for adults and children 8+.

Program participants should meet in the PlayScape Parking lot at our Rowe Woods location.

Hit the trails at night and enjoy the full moon and natural history readings. Full Moon Walks provide rare opportunities to hike Nature Center trails when we’re normally closed. These night time walks utilize level upland trails -- we avoid hills, steps and stream crossings for safety. While each full moon walk varies, we generally stop periodically for natural history moments, special readings or simply to admire the shadows cast by the full moon. As it’s night time, the pace is slower. Leaders adjust the walking speed based on their group. Full moon walks generally go for 1.5 hours with our goal being to maximize time on the trail.

What to bring: Please bring your own mask. Whether indoors or outdoors, masks are required for all individuals ages 10 and up at all Cincinnati Nature Center programs. Masks are to be worn outside when one cannot consistently be spaced 6 feet apart. Masks are also required to be worn while inside all facilities (for example, Rowe Visitor Center, restroom, etc.).

Members $5; nonmembers $10 (includes admission).
