Preregistration is required. This is a program designed for children ages 3 and 4. Pricing includes the full series. Children must be potty trained.

Program participants meet on four select Saturdays at the Preschool Building from 9:15 to 11:45 am at our Rowe Woods location.

Does your child love being outdoors?! Join us as we explore the woods around the Early Childhood building. We will search for caterpillars, investigate the pond, keep track of the birds we see, and discover how animals get ready for the upcoming winter.

What to bring: Please also bring your own masks. Whether indoors or outdoors, masks are required for Kindergarten and up at all Cincinnati Nature Center programs. Masks are to be worn outside when one cannot consistently be spaced 6 feet apart. Masks are also required to be worn while inside all facilities (for example, Rowe Visitor Center, restroom, etc.).

Members $85; nonmembers $100. Preregistration is required and price includes all dates in the series. 

Media Release: To promote its facilities, attractions and offerings, Cincinnati Nature Center uses photos and videos. Images or recordings of you or your child or guardian may be used to promote Cincinnati Nature Center. The Nature Center owns the copyright to these images and recordings and may use them for promotional purposes. By participating in this program, you are releasing rights to approve images or recordings.

*Please note that cancellations must be made at least two weeks in advance of the series. No refunds or transfers of fees will occur if the request is made less than two weeks prior to the series start. Programs continue, rain or shine.

Important Information For All Program Registrants:  Please retain an electronic copy of your order number or save/print off a copy of the email acknowledgement as a receipt.  You may be asked for your order number from your transaction to gain entry at the gate/to attend your program. 

Cincinnati Nature Center will run advertised programs and events ​in accordance with current guidelines outlined by the CDC and local health agencies. The status or format of programs may change based on COVID-19 best practices and conditions at the time of the program. In the event that Cincinnati Nature Center cancels a class, a full refund will be issued for the canceled class(es).
