A Force for Nature: Lucy Braun

Our program begins with a viewing of the documentary A Force for Nature: Lucy Braun.  Braun (1889-1971) was a Cincinnati botanist, ecologist and expert on the forests of the eastern United States. A groundbreaking 20th century scientist, she advocated tirelessly and passionately for preservation.  At the film’s conclusion, a panel of area conservation experts will lead a discussion about Braun, her legacy and the documentary.
