Conservation Starters: Composting

This event is no longer on sale.

Tuesday August 6

6:30 PM  –  8:00 PM

Preregistration required.  A program geared toward adults.

Registered program participants should meet in the auditorium of the Rowe Woods Visitor Center.

According to the EPA, more food reaches landfills and incinerators than any other single material in municipal solid waste! Composting is one easy, affordable solution to this staggering statistic. Join us for the evening as we learn the basics of composting and how to make it work for you. We’ll visit our Nature Center compost bins and our native plant garden.

Members $5; nonmembers $14 (includes daily admission).

*Please note that cancellations must be made at least two weeks in advance of the event. No refunds or transfers of fees will occur if the request is made less than two weeks prior to the event. All programs continue, rain or shine.

Important Information For All Program Registrants:  Please retain an electronic copy of your order number or save/print off a copy of the email acknowledgement as a receipt.  You may be asked for your order number from your transaction to gain entry at the gate/to attend your program.
