This event is no longer on sale.

Wednesday November 9

7:00 PM  –  8:00 PM

Preregistration required for this program designed for adults and interested teens (13 and up).

Get ready to think about conservation in new and different ways! Be inspired as you hear from compelling speakers who are changing the conversation about our environment, making an impact in their communities, and thinking about how to make nature more accessible and equitable for all.

On November 9, we feature an influential individual in her field:

Priya Nanjappa, Toad Scientist and Vice President of Conservation Programs at National Parks Conservation Association

Priya Nanjappa has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Biology with emphases in wildlife ecology, conservation biology, and environmental science. Her experiences include work with federal and state government, nonprofits, and she has coordinated and led interdisciplinary teams at state, national, and international scales. Priya is passionate about inclusivity, equity, and diversity, and has applied these in her positions where she is able to influence and create beneficial changes in policies and practices. She recently served as a mentor in the inaugural cohort of Next100 Colorado, designed to help connect Colorado’s emerging and seasoned leaders of color through a series of partnerships, network formation, and leadership building. She also really loves toads – outside of work, you can find her looking for them, or just hiking and camping, often with her daughter, who shares her love of the outdoors.
