Join us as we team with Clermont Soil & Water Conservation District for a Pond Clinic at our Rowe Woods location. Participants should meet inside our Krippendorf Lodge.
Featured Speaker: Randy Morgan with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Wildlife will discuss muskrat prevention and control in regard to maintaining a healthy and structurally safe pond.
Guests are invited to enjoy up to two breakout sessions:
- Breakout Session 1A: Ponds 101 Jake Hahn with Clermont Soil & Water Conservation District brings over 10 years of pond assistance tips and guidance. For those who are new with management or wondering where to start first.
or
- Breakout Session 1B: Pond Health and Aeration with Jones Fish Hatchery. Maintaining a healthy pond with aeration and other management tools to create a healthy environment for your fish.
- Breakout Session 2A: Pond Weed Control with Jones Fish Hatchery. Learn to ID and manage plants in your pond from those who deal with it every day.

- Breakout Session 2B: Nature Talk with Cincinnati Nature Center.
Please come early for our pond walk with experts, if you desire. Walk will be from 4-5 pm and is weather dependent. Please meet at the Krippendorf Lodge Parking Lot for our pond walk. On our walk, we will discuss what we find, including plant life, and pond problems. This will be an easy hike, but may include uneven terrain.
