Preregistration is required for all students/children participating. Adult chaperones/parents need not register. However, all students must have adult supervision for this program.
Program participants should meet at the Creekside Barn at our Long Branch Farm & Trails location.
Join us at Long Branch Farm & Trails for a relaxing time of canoeing inspired by Gary Paulsen’s picture book Canoe Days. We’ll read the book, then glide across the pond in canoes in search of frogs, dragonflies, butterflies and more. Practice tracking on the way to the pond by searching for deer tracks and sniffing for fox scents! Meet at the White Creekside Barn at Long Branch Farm & Trails. Appropriate for ages 4-8 with parent. (Note that we have life jackets for children who weigh 50 pounds or more. If you have a smaller child, please bring your own life jacket for him or her.)
Preregistration required. Members $6 per child; nonmembers $10 per child (includes daily admission).
*Please note that cancellations must be made at least two weeks in advance of the event. No refunds or transfers of fees will occur if the request is made less than two weeks prior to the event. All programs continue, rain or shine.
Important Information For All Program Registrants: Please retain your order number or print off a copy of the email acknowledgement as a receipt. You will need your order number from your transaction to gain entry at the gate/to attend your program.
