We are sorry.  This program has been CANCELED.

Preregistration required. Suitable for families with children ages 7 and up with adult.

Program participants meet on the side porch of the Rowe Visitor Center.

Have you ever seen a bird pant? Or a tree sweat? Just like us, as the summer temperatures soar, birds, animals and plants need to keep cool—it’s a matter of life and death. Our interactive hike will take us to the field, forest, pond and stream to delve into the ingenious ways nature acclimates in the heat.

Members $5; nonmember $14 (ticket prices include daily admission).

*Please note that cancellations must be made at least two weeks in advance of the event. No refunds or transfers of fees will occur if the request is made less than two weeks prior to the event.

Important Information For All Program Registrants: Please retain your order number or print off a copy of the email acknowledgement as a receipt.  You will need your order number from your transaction to gain entry at the gate/to attend your program.
