Battling Problem Plants (Online) 3/16/2022

This event is no longer on sale.

Wednesday March 16

7:00 PM  –  8:30 PM

Preregistration required for this online program designed for adults.

Creating a wildlife-friendly yard entails making space for native species, and that means removing introduced plants. If you find yourself asking, “Which plants are introduced?” or “How do I remove non-native ‘problem’ plants?”, this beginner level class is for you. Using examples from the Nature Center’s gardens and grounds, Natural Areas Manager Olivia Espinoza will provide tips and tricks for battling aggressive plants.

This will be a live, virtual program on the Zoom meeting platform. Live auto-captioning will be available. Your link to attend the meeting will be sent immediately after registering in a follow-up email. You do not need the Zoom application to participate. If you do not receive your Zoom link by 12 pm on March 16, or if you have issues logging on, please contact us at
