Creating wildlife-friendly yards entails restoring it to native species and that means removing introduced plants. If you find yourself asking “Which plants are introduced?” or “How do I remove invasive plants?”, this beginner level class is for you. Using examples from the Nature Center’s gardens and grounds, Natural Areas Manager Olivia Espinoza will provide tips and tricks for battling those invaders.

About the Instructor:  As Cincinnati Nature Center’s Natural Areas Manager, Olivia Espinoza oversees all research and monitoring that takes place on Nature Center properties, as well as manages the land and wildlife. She graduated from Ohio University in 2008 with a BS in Wildlife and Conservation Biology.

Members $7; Nonmembers $7.
